The Car in 2035
The Car in 2035: Mobility Planning for the Near Future is a collection of essays about the uneven pace of change in vehicle technology, land use, regulation, and infrastructure. The authors are a cross-disciplinary team of experts in design, art, public policy, engineering, architecture, sustainability, urban planning, and the automotive industry. The book is framed around the broad themes of The Car, The Street, and Public Policy.
We worked closely with the contributors on the design of infographics and the overall publication, incorporating portraits by the photographer Monica Nouwens and various scales of typography to illustrate the future of mobility in Southern California.
