COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT FOR THE BOWTIE

Throughout 2021, Place and Page worked with California State Parks, the Bowtie design team, and Clockshop on the community engagement for the Bowtie, a parcel of land along the LA River in Glassell Park, which will soon be an important green space for the surrounding community—LA’s next State Park. 

Through a combination of online and in-person surveys, community workshops, and additional outreach at community events, we were able to reach over 2000 community members to get input on the conceppt design for the park.
