MINDFUL DRIVING IN WEHO

We worked with the City of West Hollywood to develop a road safety campaign that emphasized community care and mutual responsibility among all road users. Our approach focused on creating messaging and illustrations that promote empathy and mindfulness on West Hollywood’s streets, while referencing the vibrant and diverse culture of this community. This campaign recognizes that effective road safety communication requires appealing to people’s connections with each other.

We included a series of approachable illustrations and messages that encouraged drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians to consider their shared responsibility for each other’s safety. The visual language uses friendly graphics and language that remind road users to look out for each other. The campaign materials were distributed through outdoor advertising on major streets in the city, as well as lawn signs in residential neighborhoods, and social media content that residents could easily share.
