A History of California Philanthropy

We worked with Southern California Grantmakers to design a temporary timeline installation for their 40th anniversary conference. The timeline looks at grantmaking in the context of the past 4 decades of Southern California’s history, including the AIDS crisis of the 80s, the LA Uprising in the 90s, and other major, impactful events. Research and writing by Vikram Jadhav. 

Each decade was separated into a different enclave and allowed space for conference attendees to leave notes on what funding priorities they remembered from those past 40 years.
