GoHuman Tactical Urbanism

We worked with Estolano Advisors, Community Arts Resources, Investing in Place, and KDI to create four tactical urbanism demonstrations as part of SCAG’s GoHuman campaign. The demonstrations took place in cities around Southern California—Palm Desert, El Centro, Westminster, and the Los Angeles neighborhood of Boyle Heights, and included temporary parklets, bike lanes, crosswalks, and other transformations that allowed residents to re-imagine their streets as more inviting public places. The end goal was to give local policy makers feedback on what would make the streets safer and more inclusive.
